Why are Grid Tie Solar Systems becoming more popular?

The Grid Tie Solar Systems are being used to help American consumers reduce the price of their electric by generating electricity and sending it back to the utility company’s grid system. This means that you both provide your own needs, and return your excess to the system. This way the Power Company will pay you for excess. Combiner Box: This is a piece of equipment provided by your solar panel installer. It monitors all of the solar connections into a useable form.

DC Breaker box: This is used to shut down the solar power system, allowing you to do emergency maintenance at any time.

Solar Power Inverter: This is also provided by the installer of your solar system. Solar power enters the home as Direct Current power, but the inverter safely converts it to useable AC current.

You can install them on your own with the proper expertise and by purchasing the proper equipment. Thankfully there is a way to avoid purchasing the individual system components. Grid-Tie kits are available from many solar manufacturers.

The Grid Tie Kit offers preassembled equipment, includes installation manuals, product manuals, clamps and all the mountain rails needed to install the Grid Tie Solar Systems. Most of these solar panels can be assembled by the purchaser following the instruction. It is recommended to have an electrician do the final linking of the solar and electrical system, however.
