It will be a wildlife experience for foreigners that come to the area, so they can visit the sanctuary, see the animals, and learn about the importance of the rainforest and why it needs to be saved. Everybody knows the significance of saving the rainforest. In addition, they live their whole lives in trees, only coming down to the ground once a week to go to the toilet! In the wild, they grow algae and moss on the exterior of their fur that serves as a camouflage to conceal them from predators. We all know endangered animals are being destroyed each day and that we all have to take steps to maintain the rainforests. Due to the influence of their diet on their metabolism they are some of the slowest animals you will ever see.

They spend the majority of their day sleeping and eating. Everybody knows the significance of saving the rainforest. We have been working for years now trying to increase the species’ survival. One example is Save the Rainforest Inc that helps lead exhibitions and gets people into the rainforests so they can see for themselves how important it is to save them. Paper Recycling – It Saves Trees and Makes Sense

One item which is routinely recycled in the United States is paper.  Which has been used and converted back into paper pulp and used to create recycled paper products such as copier paper, newspaper, toilet paper and tissue.  Approximately half of the paper used in the U.S. today is recycled, much of it coming from commercial business programs.

Recycling of  paper is not without its environmental issues.  The act of turning old paper into new paper pulp entails a lot of work and machinery found in large industrial plants.  While no one in their right mind would suggest that paper recycling is not necessary, it is a process which requires a significant amount of energy to complete.  It has to be transported to the plants, made back into pulp, and then new paper and corrugated supplies must be made.  The whole process requires fossil fuels and a significant amount of energy to complete.

Commercial recycling programs amount to about 80% of all paper recycled today.  Businesses of just about any size now have containers throughout their buildings for their employees to put their used paper into.  When visiting a business today you will often find a container for white paper and another for colored.  The different papers need to be separated for recycling .  Newspaper can also be recycled and requires its own container.

Once the containers are full they are generally hauled off by the local waste disposal company and taken to a plant for processing.

There are many ways that you, as an individual, can support the recycling process.  The easiest is to put your used paper into your kitchen garbage recycling containers.  From there you can dump them into your compost pile and they will break-down into soil, just as normal household kitchen garbage will.
Another way you can support recycling is to purchase recycled cards and recycled paper checks along with your recycled paper for your copier .
By using recycled paper products you are helping to support recycling in your area, and helping to eliminate trees being cut from the forests.

Next time you visit your local grocery market be sure to notice whether or not they are using recycled paper shopping bags.  If they are they make a nice change from using the usual plastic ones made from petroleum products.

When you shop be on the lookout for recycled paper products such as recycled toilet paper, recycled tissue and recycled paper towels.  By supporting the companies who make these products you are supporting paper recycling.

Scrap Waste Material Recycling  is Big Business – and Growing! 

Scrap waste material recycling is a growing category within the recycle industry.  Scrap and waste recycling commonly refers to the assembling, breaking up, sorting, and distributing of waste materials.  This includes automobiles, wastepaper, plastics, and iron and steel waste.

The U.S. generates an amazing 230 million tons of trash annually.  This number includes paper and cardboard, yard trimmings, metals and plastics, and other household waste.  In addition to collection, the scrap and waste materials industry operates the sorting services that help to reduce the amount of waste sent to local landfills. They also process all forms of waste for wholesale distribution.  This wide variety of materials including bags and bottles, fur cuttings, metal wastes and rubber.

Many companies in the business of waste recycling today use automation to make their jobs much easier.  Current automation technology is able to sort waste product into categories, even down to the type of plastic contained in a waste bottle.  By utilizing automation technology, waste material recycling is a growing business and is finding itself to be much more efficient in recovering and sorting waste materials for processing. 

One major aspect of the waste material business is the recycling of wastepaper.  Wastepaper comes from newspaper, cardboard and typical office and copier papers.  This paper is baled by the scrap company and then taken to a paper recycling plant.  Once the wastepaper bales arrive at the paper recycle plant they are then converted back into paper pulp.  This paper pulp is then used to make corrugated supplies, such as boxes, and recycled paper and tissue products.  By purchasing recycled copier paper, recycled paper towels or recycled toilet paper, you are purchasing products made from recycled paper pulp.   

Another aspect of waste recycling deals with scrap iron and steel.  Iron and steel companies collect the metal from junked cars, buildings and other metal industries.  This steel and iron is then processed to remove any toxic or hazardous waste materials and then finally sold to steel mills for their use.

Scrap plastic is another large sector in the waste material business.  Consumers in the U.S. use an amazing amount of plastic materials in day to day life.  Just about everything from toothbrushes to our vehicles contain plastic materials.  Plastic waste recycling takes these various forms of plastics and bales them and sells them for processing into new plastic. Recycling plastics is a growing business in the waste material business and is expected to continue to grow.

As you can clearly see, scrap water material recycling plays a very important part in the process of recycling and keeping materials out of our landfills.  This business is expected to grow and change with the purchasing habits of consumers.
