Presentation Folders Canada
Can anyone help me with my project on First Nations Resources in Canada?
The end of the school year is looming just in sight, and this means the joy of all the culminating activities.
For my geography class, I have to research a topic and prepare a research folder, along with a note and test for my classmates and a half hour presentation.
However, I`m having extreme difficulty finding sources that will provide me with information on the resources that First Nations people have in Canada. I`m talking about things like land, fish etc. as well as tobaco and such. Can anyone help me out? The two main questions that I have to answer are;
-What resources do they have access to?
-Where does the money that is generated from those resources go?
I`m really trying to get this all done, but I`m struggling a great deal and it`s worth 20% of my final mark.
Thank you in advanced.
Did you Google?
They fish and hunt if the land hasn’t been polluted.
They have reserves they can live on if they want.
They are exempt from some taxes.
There is no money generated. That generated from illegal tobacco sales goes to the reserve.
Many live in cities and work there.
Many go to school.
That is the end of their resources.
They are a marginalized people who struggle to get by.
